Migration successfully carried out with SEO rankings preserved and sales boosted

Goal

To carry out the website migration from Drupal 5 to Symfony, as the old technologies were unable to add changes to the functionality and maintain the stable performance of the store.

Obstacle

It was necessary to save the e-commerce platform data and the transaction history of the publishing house accumulated for the 10 years of the project existence.

Solution

We wrote scripts to format SQLtables on Drupal and insert them into the new tables on Symfony.
We added new functions that were unavailable due to the limitations of outdated technologies.
After the migration, sales began to grow.
