Mobile application adapted for Huawei platform in 2 months
To integrate the retailer’s existing app with HMS (Huawei Mobile Services).
The users of Huawei smartphones encountered difficulties using the Metro app since Google had ended Huawei’s Android Support. In the process of integration, it was necessary to quickly adapt to changes, since the HMS ecosystem was still at the stage of scaling.
Our team of three people worked on the project: PM, Android developer and QA engineer. We replaced Google services libraries with Huawei services libraries. In the process, we made adjustments to the design requirements and application logic. Due to direct communication with Huawei specialists, we were able to test the application on their side before release.
The app has received positive reviews since the release of the new version.
