UIT dedicated team augmented the 9GAG Product Engineering Team and relationship extended for further projects
Goal
To increase the development bandwidth and more rapid features release.
Obstacle
The Client had the concern of engaging a vendor that would cause inefficient collaboration, integration, and performance losses resulting from remote work, time difference, and communication gaps.
Solution
Umbrella IT team was integrated seamlessly. At the start, there were three team members involved: PM, Developer, and QA. The activities were scheduled according to the Client’s timezone. The UIT team was assigned a small task: to implement 9GAG Pro purchase option on a mobile version of the website.
The task was successfully completed: we added the feature allowing the purchase of 9GAG Pro with Stripe integration. Upon completion, the UIT team was engaged for another larger project on the improvement of the mobile version of the website.
