First marketplace for African market developed
Goal
To develop a marketplace for various types of goods and services manufactured and offered in the African market.
Obstacle
The goods and services were required to be validated for their compliance with laws.
Solution
The design of the marketplace was based on the existing African market demand. A system of companies validation was developed, including both online and offline audit of the companies. Based on the audit results the company that has been verified, is assigned a valid sign. This sign confirms the reliability of the buyer/seller.
The project also included a complex system for services and goods categorizing, an internal messenger and a complex search.
Client’s review
I worked with Umbrella IT to create a website from scratch for my startup. The team was very flexible in terms of design changes. I plan to continue working with Umbrella to develop new features as my business grows.
