Data infrastructure optimized and costs reduced 20 times
Goal
Find an alternative solution to Amazon Redshift and transfer the company’s data infrastructure to new service
Obstacle
The current service was too slow and had many restrictions. Due to regular maintenance, the website was down every week for half an hour.
Solution
We chose the SnowFlake service, which offers a data warehouse. To check the correct operation of the new storage, we built parallel data pipelines that duplicated information not only on Redshift but also on Snowflake. As a result, we got a customized product solution that is more stable, fast, and requires less maintenance resources.
