Solution implemented for automated control of franchise sales reports process
Goal
The task was to find a solution to detect the fact of the franchise partner reports submission.
Obstacle
Each Client’s franchise uses its own platform to generate franchise sales reports, and the platforms work in various ways. There was not any universal franchise sales report tool with the possibility to track the reports.
Solution
Umbrella IT developed a solution for franchise reporting. It is a tool that analyzes the FTP-server for the data submission from the franchise partner system. Based on the results the tool generates the Missing Sales Reporting Files. The Hamleys administrators have access to the reports and can check whether the required data have been submitted or not and to track franchise reporting to the company.
Client’s review
The software is soon to launch for its users and the business expects to see its positive impact shortly. The project was managed well throughout, with the team [Umbrella IT] communicating effectively, adhering to best practice, and becoming increasingly confident in sharing their ideas.
